This afternoon, the FIAT team helped spread awareness for R U OK? Day by presenting a meaningful slideshow that highlighted the importance of the day and offered practical ways to check in with someone. Following the presentation, each class participated in an engaging activity to reinforce the message. We appreciate the FIAT team’s time, effort, and commitment to promoting mental health and wellbeing💛💛

For National Child Protection Week, Year 4 joined a virtual classroom webinar designed by the eSafety Commissioner to empower students with the skills to protect themselves online. Year 4 learnt about practical tools such as creating strong passphrases and keeping their settings on private, recognising body clues such as sweaty palms and butterflies in their tummy, and talking to their trusted adults if they come across any problems online. We hope that this was helpful and informative for our students! For further information on this topic, please access www.esafety.gov.au/kids
