Nagle College Launches New STEM Scholarship for Future Innovators
Nagle College Blacktown has announced the launch of the “Christine Howe STEM Academic Scholarship”, a new opportunity designed to support and inspire young women passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Today, Year 4 were fortunate to welcome local MP, Mr Mark Taylor into our learning space to share his thoughts on who he believes are heroes within our local community and the qualities that make them heroic. This visit ties in with our Term 4 Religion unit, Who Is a Hero?, in which children are exploring how to live as followers of Jesus and how their everyday choices can positively impact others. We sincerely thank Mr Taylor for taking the time out of his busy schedule to speak with Year 4 and inspire us through his insights.

Today saw St Paul’s compete in Round 3 of the Mark Taylor Cricket Competition. It was an extremely hot day, but the children gave it their all and came away with a fantastic win — on to the next round we go! A huge thank you to Mrs Provan for coming out and scoring for us once again — we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you also to Mr Bullock for giving up his day to umpire for us. Finally, a big congratulations to the team for showing outstanding sportsmanship — not only towards each other, but also towards the opposition. Well done, team! 🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏🏏
