On Friday the 21st March, Kindergarten presented their first assembly item
They started with a prayer and then sang a beautiful song called 'I Am Special'. The parents and teachers thought they were amazing!
Kindergarten finished off the assembly with a song called 'I wish I were a Butterfly'. We cannot wait to see their next assembly item!

YEAR 6 ENCOUNTER During this special event today students have engaged in high energy Praise and Worship, dialogued with students from other schools in their local area, widened their spiritual awareness and experienced Eucharistic Adoration. This day has been designed to align with Stage Three Learning Cycle Five “What is Human Dignity?”, with a particular focus on students experiencing a very real “encounter” with Christ, through their experience with one another and through a powerful experience of Eucharistic Adoration, a new experience of church. Gen Bryant, who leads this formation event, is a dynamic young talented woman of faith who is a humble witness to God’s great love. See some snaps below of our day!

📸 Year 6 Digital Photography 📸 Tiny worlds, BIG creativity! Inspired by American photographer Chris Boffoli, our Year 6 Captivate Photography students created magical scenes with miniature figurines this week. The results are amazing and incredibly creative!

Frame by frame our Year 4 animators are making movie magic! This week during the Captivate Stop Motion Animation lesson, students used light boxes and various other overhead animation techniques to bring their experimentations to life! Some great work and teamwork! 📸

Year 4 Scientists had a sticky situation today as they explored viscosity! 🍯 Using honey, custard and chocolate sauce, students investigated how different liquids flow and discovered that not all liquids move at the same speed. Hands-on learning as its sweetest! 🍫👩🏼🔬

Our Year 6 students have officially kicked off their digital photography journey with Captivate! Last week was all about mastering the Rule of Thirds, finding the perfect balance and sharpening their focus. On Friday at our Opening School Mass, we proudly celebrated the blessing and presentation of badges for our 2026 Student Leadership Team. It was a special moment as these children were commissioned to serve our school community with purpose and heart. We congratulate each leader and look forward to seeing them grow and lead with our school values of empathy, leadership, commitment, integrity and faithfulness. Over the past two days we have welcomed the Kindergarten students to St Paul’s. They have loved meeting their Year 6 buddies and our school mascot, ROARY!!! Kindy have also explored our adventure playground and participated in a scavenger hunt with their buddies to find many of the spaces in our school. What a joyful experience! We look forward to a fabulous year of learning 📚
