As part of our Geography Inquiry this term, we are learning to describe factors that shape places such as; environmental, economic, social and cultural factors. This afternoon, Mrs Smith shared her valuable knowledge and experience of visiting the Australian landmark, Uluṟu. The students were captivated by the impressive photos in Mrs Smith’s presentation and are now inspired to begin their own research task.

After our beautiful Grandparents’ Day Mass, Year 3 were thrilled to open their doors and share their learning space with their grandparents and special visitors. It was a joy to see the smiles, stories, and connections being made as the students proudly showed off their work and classroom. Thank you to all the grandparents and loved ones who joined us today — your presence made the day truly memorable!

Congratulations to our Year 6 student, Jesse K who created this lovely blanket for Hope in a Suitcase ( a group assisting victims of domestic violence.) Jesse constructed a letter asking for help to create more blankets for this worthy cause. Together with his grandmother Helena, and her merry band of ladies from the knitting and crochet group, the knitting needles and crochet hooks were set in motion to create a variety of beautiful blankets, which were gratefully accepted by Hope in a Suitcase. The St Paul's community would like to specially thank Jesse for this wonderful initiative and all the ladies from Helena's group as well as all the grandmothers who assisted in the teaching of knitting and crochet to the St Paul's students. In the words of Pope Leo XIV who states" Assisting a poor person , is a 'Sacred act"in the Church, aligning it with its mission of mercy" Jesse and ladies, you have certainly accomplished that.
