Year 5 and Year 6 students had an absolutely fantastic day at the Soccer Gala Day at Penrith, displaying outstanding grit, sportsmanship, and determination that left everyone in awe! Massive congratulations to our Year 6 girls team, who were crowned as undefeated champions in their pool! Thank you to our parent coaches and to all the parents and grandparents who added to the excitement with their presence and support.

What a fantastic way to end our excursion. Parliament House was both informative and engaging, and our children truly shone with their knowledge, confidence, and enthusiasm as they took part in a role-play demonstrating how a new bill is passed through Parliament.

We are grateful to the volunteers who led our Art Gallery tour this afternoon. Year 6 explored sculptures, paintings, and jewellery, and enjoyed drawing, mime, and observation activities. It was a wonderful opportunity to appreciate different art forms.

Year 6 is currently visiting Questacon and enjoying a day of hands-on science exploration. Students are engaging with interactive exhibits, making discoveries, and having fun while learning.

We are incredibly proud of all the children, who rested well last night after a very long and exciting day. Day 2 has begun with a delicious cooked breakfast, and everyone is refreshed, energised, and ready for another fantastic day of learning and adventure.

Last night, we were fortunate to visit the AIS, where Australian athletes guided us through the facilities and shared insights into their chosen sports and training programs. The children then had a fantastic time in the Sportex room, testing their athletic abilities and taking part in a range of interactive challenges.

What a moving experience for our Year 6 students yesterday afternoon. Maeve and Ariana participated in the Last Post Ceremony, laying a wreath in honour of the fallen soldiers who served and sacrificed their lives in times of war.
