**Edited to add funeral details below** Tuesday 14 January, 11am St. Paul the Apostle Church with a burial to follow at Castlebrook Cemetey, Rouse Hill. It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of Mrs Connie Debono-Cullen on Monday. Many of you would fondly remember Connie from her 30 years of care for children from St. Paul's at 'Connie's Before and After School Care'. Connie was affiliated with St. Paul's for over 40 years, as mother of John and Victoria and in more recent years, as Rosemary's grandmother. Connie took great joy and pride in her work with our St. Paul's community and families. She knew everyone by name. Connie was a keen volunteer, especially in the veggie garden where she and the children even entered a prized pumpkin in the Royal Easter Show! Connie's family have asked that we share this news with the community whom she loved dearly. They know there would be many families who have been touched by Connie's care and compassion over the years. Her faith, warmth and love for her family and parish community will be remembered especially by the families she supported in her time as a Before and After School Care provider. Rest in peace, Connie. Details of Connie's funeral will be communicated once plans have been finalised.

Unfortunately, St Paul the Apostle Primary Winston Hills is currently experiencing an unscheduled water outage. As it is unclear when this service will be restored, a decision has been taken to close the school for today (Monday 16 December) only. The outage is currently impacting all water services at school, including bubblers, taps and toilet flushing. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and understand that this is a very busy time of year for families. At this stage our Year 6 graduation will go ahead as planned. We anticipate that the school will reopen tomorrow and will keep you updated if there is further information to share. Thanks so much for your support.
