Dance students impressed the crowd with a range of dazzling performances
Hundreds of students from 35 primary and secondary Catholic schools from across the Diocese showcased their creative talents in a series of music, dance and strings performances throughout June, culminating in the ‘Best Of’ performance on 23 June
The showcase events demonstrated the high calibre of choral, music and dance work from Catholic schools, under the Parramatta Diocese’s creative and performing arts initiative, CAPTIVATE.The program provides learning and performance experiences for students, as well as builds expertise and a sense of community across the system. CAPTIVATE is very popular with five new schools joining the program since last year.

Our lunchtime gardening club with Mr Barrie is always a popular choice for our youngest children. They proudly wanted to share the recent 'harvest' from Term 4. The children were shocked and ecstatic when they reached down and pulled out baby carrots, ready for the reindeers this Christmas! 🎄Given the size of this harvest, let's hope the reindeers are well fed on Christmas Eve 😂 Thank you Barrie, for sharing your time with our youngest children, your biggest fans!

Year 4 got into the festive spirit today with a grade Christmas Party! We enjoyed listening to Christmas carols, making some Christmas craft and cards, and eating snacks with our friends. What a fabulous end to an amazing year! We were even lucky enough to get a special visit from one of our friends who moved to England earlier this year! What a great day 🎄

Huge shout-out to our amazing Senior Drama Team! These talented students gave up their lunchtime once a week to rehearse, film and perfect the movie shown at our Christmas Concert. Their commitment, teamwork and creativity truly brought the story to life on screen. We are so proud of the effort they put in and the final result — what a wonderful way to share their talents with our school community.

Ever Since Noah found out Mrs McGrillen’s daughter is a paramedic, he’s been campaigning for a school visit. This week, Noah’s wish came true! Mrs McGrillen’s daughter Darby as well as Mrs Gray’s son-in-law Michael (an Intensive Care Paramedic) brought an ambulance from the nearby Northmead Station to show Year 3! 🚑 Year 3 had a wonderful time learning about the equipment, the stretcher, what paramedics do and how they can become one.🩺⛑️ Thank you to Michael and Darby for volunteering your time to visit us. We have plenty of future paramedics in the making here in Year 3! 💪🚨
